Johnny Depp... always a man of disguise!

This remake of the original cartoon is actually not half bad.  With Johnny Depp as the Madhatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen, it is quite an all-star cast.  This movie is a great thrill for the family because kids will like it along with their parents because it isn't TOO childish.  You could swing either way when it comes to buying or renting, but I suggest renting.  General Rating: 3 out of 5 ***
